Brilliant! Exciting! Fresh! are words that describe Memley’s new GLORIA – a 10 minute work in 3 continuous sections for mixed choir with brass quintet, piano, timpani and percussion. Excellent for church or school concert from good high school to college choirs to community groups, this work makes a fabulous pairing with his MAGNIFICAT, released in 2012. Memley’s rhythmic vitality and captivating melodies have been described as ”when Rutter meets Bernstein.”
