Jesse Beulke Jesse Beulke began writing choral music as a freshman in college. He has had several of his pieces performed and published during his undergraduate years. Jesse is currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Vocal Music Education at Minnesota State University – Mankato. There, he studies composition and conducting with Dr. David Dickau. After graduation in 2016, he plans to continue his studies with a master’s degree in choral conducting. Jesse works as a collaborative pianist, music director, and conductor in a variety of settings. He has music directed, conducted, and accompanied in several main stage shows in the Department of Theatre and Dance at MSU-Mankato as well as in local theatres. Jesse also works in the MSU Music Department as an accompanist for the choirs, vocal studios, opera workshops, and vocal faculty. Jesse has served as president of the student chapter of the National Association for Music Education, the MSU Concert Choir, and the MSU chapter of ACDA for the past two years.
