Description
Commissioned by the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra, popular composer Peter Boyer has drafted a beautiful setting of Langston Hughes’ famous poem which titles this piece. Although originally scored for orchestral accompaniment, this version for 2-part children’s (or treble voices) and piano lifts the text for world peace most honorably. School choirs will find this an excellent choice for fall and spring concerts.
