Description
Colossians 3:16 is one of the great scripture passages that calls us to sing. Petker’s melodic choice is a beguiling motif that moves from an accompanimental figure into a sung statement. Taken from the third movement of Petker’s ”Te Deum to Music” the middle section rises steadily in joyous praise to God. Returning to the first theme, the ending leaves the listener hanging in the most alluring fashion.
