Arirang – 2-Part Treble – Choral Score

This piece is one of a set of three titles from “Songs of the World” Collection #3. This song comes to us from Korea and is considered to be over 2000 years old. It is named for the Arirang Hill, located on the outskirts of Seoul. The words, “soon you shall walk to the distant Arirang Hill,” have come to mean we must conquer life’s difficulties and turn challenges to happiness. There is an optional flute obbligato with the keyboard accompaniment.
