Description
Although the words come from the 19th century there is no question the music is of today. The opening tonal clusters from the choir, accompanied by a rolling line and steady harmony in the piano, create a mood of mystery. Praise rings forth exuberantly in salute of God’s command of life and death, however the music stays well-grounded in reality, and the newness is engaging. An excellent church anthem, general song of praise, All Saints Day, or concert. Medium difficulty.
